Once upon a time there was a girl with a camera who was mesmerized by moments of connection between people. She picked up her camera and started capturing those precious moments. Soon the girl realized that by freezing sparks of emotion in time, she was in fact preserving magic.

I am that girl and those are your magical moments I am after.

So let us meet. My name is Marina and I am a Montreal based photographer whose biggest passion is to tell photo stories at home in Canada and while traveling around the globe.

I spent years working with and learning from the best at de Belle Photography and Ora Studio. That is how I fell in love with wedding photography and adopted a photo documentary approach that assures a candid, fun, discrete and stress-free coverage of your magical day.

Establishing a connection with my clients is key to capturing the essence of an individual, a special or casual occasion, or a commercial space. During my photo sessions, I pay extra attention to mood and details and specialize in covering smaller, more intimate celebrations.

Traveling the world has allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and individual uniqueness. I speak five languages and take pride in documenting traditional ceremonies and unique events in Montreal and in exotic destinations.

As my name suggests, I am a sea creature - I have been drawn to the ocean since I was a child. This powerful connection has pushed me as an adult to explore the world’s beaches in search of the most beautiful wave peaks to surf and to catch on camera.

I am captivated by natural, authentic, uncontrollable beauty that is found in abundance around and within us. I am here to preserve it and to share it with the world.
